Golden alexanders is an upland herb that grows throughout our region on moist (but not wet) soil in wet meadows, wetlands margins, banks of streams, and moist woodlands. It germinates readily on rich soil in sun. Divided leaves and attractive, flat-topped, yellow flower-head on erect stem.
